Yellowknife, NT (April 1, 2021) – The Workers’ Safety and Compensation Commission of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut (WSCC) has today announced the appointment of Jenni Bruce as the new chair of its Governance Council.
Failure to remove accumulated ice and snow from buildings and structures can result in a serious or fatal injury to a worker or passerby from falling ice or snow.
Assign values for the hazard severity and likelihood on a scale from 1 to 4, then multiply them together to give a rating of low, medium, and high-risk.
Fraud happens when someone holds back information or lies, with the intent to get benefits from the WSCC that they're not entitled to. This is against the law.
