Workers’ Safety and Compensation Commission Launches two NEW e-Business Services
Yellowknife, NT (March 7, 2016) – Today, the Workers’ Safety and Compensation Commission (WSCC) announces the release of two new e-Business services, added to WSCC Connect.
Report Unsafe Work is a unique service that the WSCC encourages everyone to use. It allows anyone to conveniently and anonymously report unsafe work. Judy Kainz, Director, Prevention Services added “Together, the WSCC working with employers, workers and the general public can use this tool to identify hazards and implement corrective actions before injuries occur.”
Employers can also Register a Business online through WSCC Connect. All the information required can be completed online in approximately 15 minutes with five easy steps. It is recommended to review the information needed and have it prepared before you start the process.
WSCC Connect, launched in 2015, currently allows employers to Make a Payment, View Assessment Rates, and Request a Clearance. The two new additions to WSCC Connect are part of our ongoing commitment to providing Northerners with fast, easy access to important WSCC services.
To access all of the convenient WSCC Connect e-Business services, visit wscc.nt.ca or wscc.nu.ca and click on the WSCC Connect button located at the top of the page.
