The WSCC is overseen by a Governance Council made up of worker, employer, and public interest representatives. We also rely on the voices and perspectives from dedicated northerners in the form of engagement and safety committees who provide feedback on legislative and policy changes that impact northern businesses and workers.

We are often looking for representatives on these committees from Nunavut and the Northwest Territories to help us shape proposed changes and amendments. Ideal candidates for these positions will be employers, engaged workers, or members of the general public who are passionate about making northern workplaces safer. Diverse perspectives from different industries, business sizes, and backgrounds are appreciated, as it ensures stakeholders are being represented.

Compensation and qualifications for these positions vary depending on the opportunity you are responding to. See individual posts for more information and instructions for submitting your application.
